INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Primary Purpose

  • As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our future-facing, high-performance organisation. You’ll champion Meridian’s renowned sound philosophy, support commercial operations within our Product Sales Team, and coordinate technical support enquiries to uphold our reputation for excellence. This position involves working with external sales and trade customers across all global markets and territories, ensuring that every interaction reflects Meridian’s commitment to innovation, quality and premium service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external sales teams and distributors worldwide, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty across diverse markets.
  • Sales & Order Management/Coordination: Oversee trade orders through the full lifecycle, resolving queries in partnership with key stakeholders, processing leads and acting as the daily point of contact for current and future orders. Provide seamless customer experiences, supporting external sales teams with high-quality commercial and administrative coordination.
  • Pipeline Management & Business Development: Proactively identify, manage and qualify business opportunities through inbound enquiries and strategic outreach across international territories, maintaining and updating sales pipeline & order forecast records.
  • Technical Support Coordination: Serve as a bridge between customers and technical teams, ensuring swift resolution of technical enquiries globally.
  • Product Knowledge: Communicate Meridian’s cutting-edge audio innovations clearly and fittingly, reflecting our global standard in high-performance sound.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Exceptional Communicator: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all channels, delivering a confident, articulate voice that reflects Meridian’s prestigious brand.
  • Analytical Problem-Solver: Quick and effective in addressing both customer and technical challenges.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ensures every order, lead, and data entry reflects Meridian’s standard of precision.
  • Organised Multitasker: Comfortable managing multiple accounts and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.  
  • Relevant Experience: Prior roles in sales or customer support, particularly within technology, audio, or high-end consumer electronics, are advantageous.

Working Environment

  • Based in a collaborative office setting, you’ll engage with customers via phone, email, and online platforms. This role is critical to ensuring Meridian’s award-winning audio systems live up to their acclaim, from concept to installation and support for clients in every region of the world.
