Forming the heart of a powerful and flexible Meridian home theatre system, G65 is a highly flexible Surround Controller, featuring many of Meridian’s key technologies such as Meridian Room Correction (MRC) while combining high performance, connectivity and ease of use.
When partnered with the UHD722, the G65 features a comprehensive input capability to accommodate the widest range of audio and video sources. Equipped with SpeakerLink and balanced analogue outputs, the G65 is equally at home in Meridian Digital Theatres and with analogue loudspeaker-based systems.

G65
The G65 is a highly flexible Surround Controller, featuring many of Meridian’s unique technologies plus a comprehensive set of digital and analogue input and outputs. It forms the heart of a powerful, flexible, and highly specified Meridian home theatre system that delivers superb performance on movies and music alike.
Unwanted resonances within the room are minimised using sophisticated filters designed to mitigate the decay times as well as the amplitude of problem frequencies.
Meridian Q-Sync deploys Meridian's multiple “First In, First Out” buffering system which minimises jitter, ensuring perfect timing and improved clarity.
Meridian Digital Precision maximises the signal-to-noise ratio of the digital audio, ensuring the finest details of every song are retained.
Meridian True Link is an encryption method for transferring high-definition digital audio over SPDIF connections. It allows secure movement of digital audio whilst ensuring that the SPDIF clock signal can be transmitted with minimum degradation.
True Time is Meridian's proprietary Apodising Filter that avoids pre-ringing and cleans up the effects of early filters, converting pre-echo to post-echo.
Meridian Trifield is an upmixing technology that provides immersive multichannel audio from two channel stereo content, configured for any loudspeaker layout.
A high-capacity, linear power supply provides a solid foundation for superb audio performance.
Features SpeakerLink outputs for use with Meridian loudspeakers as well as balanced analogue outputs for use with analogue active loudspeakers or conventional amplifiers and passive loudspeakers.
Up to twelve different sources can be assigned to any of the various input types; digital co-ax (2-ch and multichannel), optical digital, analogue (2ch and multichannel), SpeakerLink. Sources can be given custom names which suit the needs of the users.
